SET Schiffbau u. Entwicklungsgesellschaft Tangermünde mbh

Newbuildings, repairs and reconstructions are focus areas of SET Schiffbau- u. Entwicklungsgesellschaft Tangermünde mbH. The shipbuilding tradition in Tangermünde dates back to 1866; at the Genthin site, ships have been built, reconstructed and repaired with expert passion for more than 60 years.

SET is internationally known for its ongoing construction of river cruise ships, passenger vessels, ferries, icebreakers, dredging vessels and police and other government craft. Whether the new vessels are built from steel or from aluminum – SET delivers consistent high quality from construction all the way through to the final outfitting of the vessel.

SET stands for reliable, quick and price-optimized execution of projects in the fields of ship repair, refurbishment and reconstruction. Even as it relates to complex repairs or reconstruction, like the overhaul of a full set of engine equipment, repairs to the ships’ bottoms and hulls, alterations and upgrades to the living quarters or the refinishing of wheel houses – our customers can trust SET’s many years of experience in all of these areas.

In 2007, SET has joined the family-owned HEINRICH RÖNNER GROUP, which has 1,700 employees and 19 operating and production sites and has been successful in the areas of shipbuilding, steel construction, service and trade for more than 20 years.
