Roßlauer Schiffswerft Gmbh & Co. KG
Roßlauer Schiffswerft GmbH & Co. KG – a company with a maritime history going back more than 150 years – was founded in 1866 by the Sachsenberg Brothers; as early as from the beginning of the 20th century, it was one of the largest inland shipyards in Europe.
Today, the company is much more than just a large shipyard next to the Elbe River. With its four sites in the Dessau-Roßlau region, a number of construction buildings, a comprehensive stable of machinery, a railroad connection and its own port on the Elbe River, Roßlauer Schiffswerft has developed into a modern steel construction business with a widely diversified portfolio.
If you are looking for shipbuilding or ship repair, crane construction, hydraulic steel construction, mobile flood protection, or offshore wind energy work – Rosslauer Schiffswerft offers its customers construction, production, conservation, transport and assembly as a single-supplier solution. It has refined expertise and offers ready-to-use products, thus saving you time and money.
Another core competence of Roßlauer Schiffswerft, especially at the Stahlbau Dessau site, is bridge construction. For decades, we have been producing, constructing and assembling “made to order” railroad bridges, street bridges and pedestrian bridges in different styles (tied arch, timber frame, box girder, through).
Roßlauer Schiffswerft is part of the family-owned HEINRICH RÖNNER GROUP, which has 1,700 employees and 19 operating and production sites and has been successful in the areas of shipbuilding, steel construction, service and trade for more than 20 years, since the mid-1990s.
