The “Cap San Diego”, the largest seaworthy civilian museum ship in the world, has returned to Bremerhaven. After five years, the historic general cargo vessel has left its home berth in Hamburg and arrived at BREDO for an upcoming class renewal.
In the early morning hours, the ship first berthed at the quay. In the coming days, it will be moved into dry dock, where the planned works will be carried out.
The shipyard period includes the scheduled inspection and maintenance of relevant components to ensure the continued operational capability and safety of the vessel.
Interest in the return of the “Cap San Diego” is high: in addition to numerous press representatives, the shipyard will accompany the work and provide insights into the project progress.
