While FSG is responsible for the hull construction in Flensburg, Lloyd Werft takes on the lead manufacturing and final outfitting of the highly modern research vessel.
MODULARIS will in future serve as a floating laboratory to test innovative maritime technologies under real conditions at sea, ranging from climate friendly propulsion systems to autonomous systems.
Yesterday’s keel laying marks an important milestone and demonstrates what is possible through close cooperation within the Heinrich Rönner Group.
