Since 2018, the company specialising in special-purpose and heavy mechanical engineering operated under the name GMW PRÄMAB GmbH and will now continue as GMW Burg GmbH within the Heinrich Rönner Group.
With around 70 employees joining the group, GMW manufactures machines, systems, and components with individual weights of up to 100 tonnes. Its range of services includes engineering and design, heavy machining, assembly and commissioning, as well as on-site service. Customers include companies from industries such as shipbuilding, aerospace, rolling mill technology, energy generation, and drive technology.
With the acquisition of GMW Burg, we are expanding our portfolio in the field of special-purpose and heavy mechanical engineering while creating additional capacities within the group. As a corporate group, we benefit from mutual synergies that we can further develop together with GMW Burg GmbH.
