BREDO DRY DOCKS welcomes three Hurtigruten cruise ships at once

Over the weekend, the Fischereihafen Bremerhaven hosted a three-part fleet meeting of Hurtigruten Expeditions.

Last Saturday, the last of the three ships "Otto Sverdrup" (138.50 meters long and built in 2002) arrived at BREDO DRY DOCKS and together with the ships "Maud" (136 meters long and built in 2003) and "Spitsbergen" (98 meters long and built in 2009) it provided a special picture in the port of Bremerhaven.

The three expedition cruise ships visit BREDO DRY DOCKS regularly - the first time in 2007, and with now over 20 visits since then. The "Maud" was in Bremerhaven in both 2021 and a few years earlier, while the "Spitsbergen" visited last year.

This time, the "Spitsbergen" serves as accommodation for the crew, while various dock-related work as well as locksmith work was carried out on the "Maud". On the "Otto Sverdrup" the propulsion system was serviced.
