Heinrich Rönner Boizenburg GmbH
Situated at a tributary of the Elbe River, the master shipwright Lemm was so interested in the production site of Heinrich Rönner Boizenburg GmbH that, over 200 year ago, namely in 1793, Lemm launched Boizenburg’s shipbuilding tradition. The historic location was once known as Elbewerft Boizenburg for a time; since 2007, however, the site has been part of HEINRICH RÖNNER GROUP.
Shipbuilding in Boizenburg was painstakingly revived by HR Boizenburg GmbH, especially as it relates to building ship hull sections and barges. Additionally, other business sectors besides traditional shipbuilding were successively included. In this way, HR Boizenburg GmbH was able to develop into a strong and versatile provider of services in hydraulic steel engineering, port construction, lock construction, machine building and heavy steel construction.
The production site of the HR Boizenburg GmbH is equipped with a large enclosed shipbuilding yard, additional office and production buildings, extensive outdoor storage and traffic surfaces as well as a slipway installation with a large gantry crane. These provide the perfect conditions for the processing of large-scale orders with multiple hundred tons in total weight.
The HR Boizenburg GmbH is part of the family-owned HEINRICH RÖNNER GROUP, which has 1,000 employees and 20 operating and production sites and has been successful in the areas of shipbuilding, steel construction, service and trade for more than 20 years.
